The Chelsea 282XMAJX-Q3XD or 282XMAJXQ3XD is a medium-duty hot-shift power take-off from the Chelsea 282 Series, designed for 8-bolt transmission mounting. It accepts pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) engagement and delivers output through a 1-1/4" round shaft with a 5/16" key. Intermittent torque is rated at 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm), with continuous torque up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) - check application pages for actual torque ratings for your specific installation. Shaft power runs 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1000 RPM. Compatible transmissions include Allison, Volvo/Mack, and Eaton/Fuller platforms.
