The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282XPAJX-A5XD or 282XPAJXA5XD, is a medium-duty hot-shift PTO with both pneumatic and PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) shift options. It mounts via an 8-bolt pattern and delivers a 1-1/4" round output shaft with a 5/16" key. Continuous torque capability reaches 300 lb-ft (407 Nm), with intermittent ratings in the 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) range. Shaft power is rated at 29 HP (21 kW) at 500 RPM and 57 HP (43 kW) at 1,000 RPM. Compatible transmissions include Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and select others. The 282 Series is designed for aerial, construction, towing and recovery, water truck, and fuel oil delivery applications.
