The Chelsea 282 Series PTO Assembly, part number 282XPAJX-V5RY or 282XPAJXV5RY, is a medium-duty hot-shift power take-off designed for continuous-duty operation. This 8-bolt unit supports pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) engagement and delivers up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) continuous torque and 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) intermittent torque. The 1-1/4" round output shaft uses a 5/16" key and is rated for 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. The 282 Series covers nine speed ratios and eighteen shift options, making it adaptable across aerial, towing and recovery, construction, water truck, and fuel oil delivery applications.
