The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282XTAJX-P3RK or 282XTAJXP3RK, is an 8-bolt medium-duty hot shift PTO built for demanding continuous-duty applications. It accepts pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) actuation and features an integral air valve plus rotatable flanges for flexible installation. The 1-1/4" round output shaft with a 5/16" key drives output up to 57 HP at 1,000 RPM (43 kW), with intermittent torque rated at 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) and continuous torque capability up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm). Compatible transmissions include Allison, Volvo/Mack, and Eaton/Fuller applications. A Smart Start option supports high-torque start-up, and a wet-spline option extends PTO and pump shaft service life.
