The Chelsea 288GAFJW-M8RY or 288GAFJWM8RY is a heavy-duty constant mesh power take-off from the Chelsea 288 Series, designed for 10-bolt mounting applications. Built on the proven 281 Series platform, the 288 Series delivers a single continuous duty torque rating of up to 390 lb-ft, with wider gears and larger capacity bearings compared to its predecessor. The cast iron housing and ductile iron bearing caps (117% stronger than gray iron) handle demanding cycles found in refuse, aerial, vacuum, and snow/ice equipment. An o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap reduces vibrational effects from modern engine designs and improves clamp load. The round output shaft (1-1/4" with key) features a positive stop for driveline outputs, eliminating oil seal damage from shaft couplings. A hose is included.
