The Chelsea 288 Series Power Take-Off, part number 288GAKVP-M8RY or 288GAKVPM8RY, is a heavy-duty 10-bolt constant mesh PTO built on the proven 281 Series platform. It carries a continuous duty torque rating of up to 390 lb-ft, delivered through a round 1-1/4" keyed output shaft. Ductile iron bearing caps are 117% stronger than gray iron, and an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load while reducing vibration damage. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speeds. The standard output shaft includes a positive stop feature that prevents oil seal damage from shaft couplings.
