The Chelsea 288GCFJW-M8RY or 288GCFJWM8RY is a 10-bolt, constant mesh Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 288 Series, built on the 281 Series platform. The 288 Series carries a continuous duty torque rating of up to 390 lb-ft and features ductile iron bearing caps that are 117% stronger than gray iron. An O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load and reduces vibrational effects from modern engine designs. The round output shaft (1-1/4" with key) includes a positive stop to prevent oil seal damage from shaft couplings. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed needs, and the Wet Spline lubrication option extends pump shaft life by 7 to 10 times.
