The Chelsea 288 Series Power Take-Off, part number 288GGFJP-M8RY or 288GGFJPM8RY, is a heavy-duty 10-bolt constant mesh PTO built on the 281 Series platform. The cast iron housing pairs with ductile iron bearing caps rated 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load while reducing vibration-related wear. The standard output shaft uses a positive-stop design to eliminate oil seal damage from driveline couplings. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed applications. Wet Spline lubrication technology provides 7 to 10 times greater pump shaft life by circulating clean oil through the PTO and pump shaft.
