The Chelsea 288 Series Power Take-Off, part number 288GDFJP-M8RF or 288GDFJPM8RF, is a heavy-duty 10-bolt constant mesh PTO built on the 281 Series platform with a continuous duty torque rating of up to 390 lb-ft. It features ductile iron bearing caps rated 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap to improve clamp load and reduce vibration-related wear from modern engine designs. The cast iron housing uses rotatable flanges to minimize interference clearance issues. The standard round shaft output includes a positive stop to prevent oil seal damage from driveline couplings. An optional Wet Spline Lubrication configuration extends pump shaft life by 7 to 10 times. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed applications.
