The Chelsea 288 Series Power Take-Off (PTO) Assembly, part number 288GDKVP-M5RK or 288GDKVPM5RK, is a heavy-duty 10-bolt constant mesh unit built on the 281 Series platform. It delivers a single continuous duty torque rating of up to 390 lb-ft, with wider gears and larger capacity bearings than the predecessor 287 Series. The cast iron housing is paired with ductile iron bearing caps rated 117% stronger than gray iron, and an o-ring sealing configuration between housing and cap improves clamp load and reduces vibration-related wear. The round shaft output with positive stop protects oil seals from coupling damage. Rotatable cast iron flanges reduce installation clearance issues.
