The Chelsea 288 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 288GMFJP-M5RK or 288GMFJPM5RK, is a heavy-duty 10-bolt constant mesh PTO built on the proven 281 Series platform. The 288 Series delivers a continuous duty torque rating of up to 390 lb-ft through wider gears and larger-capacity bearings. Ductile iron bearing caps are 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load while reducing vibration damage. The standard output shaft is a round 1-inch shaft with a 1/4-inch key and features a positive stop to prevent oil seal damage from shaft couplings. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed applications. The optional Wet Spline lubrication delivers 7 to 10 times greater shaft life. A hose is included.
