The Chelsea 442 Series Power Take-Off, part number 442XSDNX-A3XD or 442XSDNXA3XD, is a 6-bolt mount PTO built for light-to-medium duty vocational applications including dump trucks, tow trucks, and service trucks. This unit carries a 0.391:1 gear ratio and uses air shift actuation. The mounting option is standard mount with metric studs, and the output is a 1-1/4" round standard shaft. The Chelsea 442 Series is compatible with virtually all existing 6-bolt transmission applications. The 442 Series offers eleven internal speed ratios and thirty-six output options, including Chelsea's 360-degree rotatable output flange. Greaseable output shafts and low-profile shift cover are standard features of the series. Typical applications include dump trucks, service trucks, tow and recovery trucks, snow and ice trucks, and small aerial trucks. The series supports intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range (check application pages for actual torque ratings for this configuration). Output power for the series reaches 46-55 HP.
