The Chelsea 442 Series Power Take-Off assembly, part number 442XSJWX-V3RB or 442XSJWXV3RB, is a 6-bolt standard mount unit designed for light-to-medium duty vocational applications including dump trucks, service trucks, tow trucks, and aerial equipment. This unit runs a 0.391:1 gear ratio with air shift actuation and a 1-1/4" round standard output shaft. Mounting uses standard metric studs. The housing requires no pressure lubrication. Tapered cone bearings on the output shaft and a cast iron housing are characteristic of the 442 Series, which supports intermittent torque ratings in the 250 lb-ft range and output power from 46 to 55 HP. Additional Information

The Chelsea 442 Series is engineered for compatibility with virtually all existing 6-bolt transmission applications. The series supports intermittent torque in the 250 lb-ft (339 Nm) range and output power from 46 to 55 HP, with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Continuous torque applications require a 30% de-rate from the intermittent rating; consult the application pages for actual torque ratings specific to your transmission. Typical vocational applications include dump trucks, service trucks, towing and recovery trucks, snow and ice trucks, and aerial equipment. The 360-degree rotatable output flange options and eleven available internal speed ratios across the 442 Series make it a flexible platform for a range of hydraulic and mechanical drive setups.
