The Chelsea 442 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 442XWAHX-W3XD or 442XWAHXW3XD, is a 6-bolt mount PTO built around a cast iron housing with tapered cone bearings on the output shaft. This unit runs a 0.391:1 gear ratio, engages via air shift, and delivers power through a 1-1/4" round standard output shaft. Mounting uses standard metric studs. The no-pressure-lube design (lubricant designation X) keeps the configuration simple. The 360-degree rotatable output flange aids clearance in tight installations, and the greaseable output shaft supports extended service intervals. Typical applications include dump trucks, tow and recovery trucks, and service trucks. Call us to confirm proper fit for your transmission.

Additional Information

The Chelsea 442 Series is designed to fit virtually all existing 6-bolt transmission applications. The series supports intermittent torque ratings from 201 to 300 lb-ft (check application pages for the actual torque rating for this specific configuration). Output power for the series spans 46 to 55 HP. Eleven internal speed ratios and thirty-six output options are available across the 442 lineup, making it adaptable to a wide range of vocational builds including aerial, construction, forestry, and municipal equipment. The cast iron housing and tapered cone bearings are characteristic of the entire 442 family and contribute to its service life in light-to-medium duty cycles.
