The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489GCAHX-V3GY or 489GCAHXV3GY, mounts directly to the 8-bolt opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec platforms. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing both installation time and potential leak paths. The 489 Series delivers an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm) and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Output is through a 1-1/4" round shaft with key. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and shares internal components with the Chelsea 442 Series. An electric-over-air shift option is also available within the 489 Series.
