The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489GCAHX-W3RB or 489GCAHXW3RB, is an 8-bolt PTO designed to mount directly to the 8-bolt opening on most manual transmissions, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec units. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths at the mounting face. Shift is accomplished via wire/cable mechanical actuation. Output is through a 1-1/4" round shaft with keyway. The 489 Series carries the same 250 lb-ft intermittent torque rating as the Chelsea 442 Series, and uses tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for improved load capacity.
