The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489GFAHX-A3AK or 489GFAHXA3AK, is a wire/cable mechanical-shift PTO built for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission's 8-bolt opening, eliminating the adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. The 489 Series uses tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for greater load capacity, and its internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series.
