The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489GFAHX-V5RB or 489GFAHXV5RB, is a wire/cable mechanical shift PTO built around an integral 8-bolt cast iron housing that mounts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths and installation time. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm); shaft power output is 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key.
