The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489GFAHX-S3RB or 489GFAHXS3RB, mounts directly to 8-bolt transmission openings on Eaton Fuller, Mack, Tremec, and other compatible manual transmissions. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts on without an adapter plate, eliminating an extra leak path. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical. The 1-1/4" round output shaft (with key) delivers up to 48 HP at 1,000 RPM, with an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft for this series. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load capacity. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series, and greaseable output options are available.
