The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489GFAHX-S3XQ or 489GFAHXS3XQ, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths. Wire/cable mechanical shift is standard on this unit. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with key. The 489 Series delivers the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series at 250 lb-ft (339 Nm), with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
