The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path. This unit uses wire/cable mechanical shift and features a 1-1/4" round output shaft with key. The 489 Series shares the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series and uses common internal parts, which simplifies servicing.
