The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489GFAHX-V5XD or 489GFAHXV5XD, is a wire/cable mechanical shift PTO built around a one-piece cast iron housing that mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on compatible manual transmissions including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and others. The integral housing eliminates the need for a separate adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm), with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Output is through a 1-1/4" round shaft with key.
