The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489GHAHX-U5SQ or 489GHAHXU5SQ, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening without an adapter plate, eliminating a common leak path. The one-piece cast iron housing delivers the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series, rated at 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm) for the series. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. Output is a 1-1/4" round shaft with key, and shaft power reaches 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The 489 Series fits manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec-equipped applications.
