The Chelsea 489GLAHX-A3XR or 489GLAHXA3XR is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly built for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening without an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and features a 1-1/4" round output shaft with key. The 489 Series delivers the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series, with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
