The Chelsea 489GLAHX-A5XD or 489GLAHXA5XD is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly built for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec gearboxes. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. Wire/cable mechanical shift type. The 489 Series shares the 250 lb-ft intermittent torque capacity of the 442 Series and uses tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for greater load capacity.
