The Chelsea 489GLAHX-W3AF or 489GLAHXW3AF is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible gearboxes. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and delivers up to 250 lb-ft intermittent torque, matching the torque capacity of the 442 Series. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with key. Shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Internal parts are common to the 442 Series, simplifying service. Available from Pro Gear and Transmission.
