The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489GQAHX-V3XR or 489GQAHXV3XR, is an 8-bolt PTO assembly built for most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. Shift is accomplished via wire/cable mechanical mechanism, with an electric-over-air shift option available in the 489 Series. Intermittent torque capacity for the series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm), with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series.
