The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate found on many competing designs, which reduces potential leak paths and cuts installation time. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm), with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with key.
