The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489GUAHX-A3XK or 489GUAHXA3XK, is a wire/cable mechanical shift PTO built on an 8-bolt mounting pattern that bolts directly to compatible manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate leak path while delivering the same 250 lb-ft intermittent torque capacity as the Chelsea 442 Series. The 489 Series carries a 1-1/4" round output shaft with keyway and uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for improved radial load capacity.
