The Chelsea 489KHAHX-A5XK or 489KHAHXA5XK is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec applications. The integral one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. Output power for the 489 Series reaches 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Intermittent torque rating for the series is 201-300 lb-ft.
