The Chelsea 489XCAHX-A3GF or 489XCAHXA3GF is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec units. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening without an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series carries the same 250 lb-ft intermittent torque rating as the 442 Series. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. Output power reaches 46-55 HP (31-40 kW), with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
