The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XCAHX-A5XD or 489XCAHXA5XD, mounts directly to 8-bolt manual transmission openings from Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, Tremec, and other compatible manufacturers. Its one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate, removing a common leak path and reducing installation time. The wire/cable mechanical shift delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range, with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Output is through a 1-1/4" round shaft. Internal parts share commonality with the Chelsea 442 Series, and tapered bearings replace needle bearings for improved load capacity.
