The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XCITX-A3RA or 489XCITXA3RA, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on compatible Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manual transmissions. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts straight to the transmission face, removing the need for an adapter plate and cutting down on potential leak paths. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. Output is through a 1-1/4" round shaft with keyway. The 489 Series shares its internal parts with the 442 Series and delivers an intermittent torque capacity of 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm), with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
