The Chelsea 489XFAHX-A3XQ or 489XFAHXA3XQ is a mechanical-shift Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 489 Series, built for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt mounting aperture. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak points. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical. The 1-1/4" round output shaft (with key) delivers up to 48 HP at 1,000 RPM, with an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft for the 489 Series. Compatible transmissions include Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec among others. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load capacity.
