The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XFAHX-A5RA or 489XFAHXA5RA, mounts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing delivers the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. Shaft power output reaches 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM, with an output power range of 46-55 HP. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
