The Chelsea 489XFAHX-V3XD or 489XFAHXV3XD is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings. Its one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission without an adapter plate, which removes a potential leak path and cuts installation time. Shift is wire/cable mechanical, with an electric-over-air option available. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 250 lb-ft (339 Nm); shaft power output reaches 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The 1-1/4" round output shaft accepts a key. Compatible transmissions include Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec 8-bolt applications. Internal parts are common with the Chelsea 442 Series, simplifying parts stocking.
