The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XFAHX-V3XR or 489XFAHXV3XR, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on compatible manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec -- no adapter plate required. The one-piece cast iron housing delivers the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series (up to 250 lb-ft / 339 Nm per application pages), with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
