The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489GHAHX-V3XR or 489GHAHXV3XR, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible units. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate found on earlier designs, removing a potential leak path. Wire/cable mechanical shift actuates the unit, with an electric-over-air shift option also available in the 489 Series. Output is through a 1-1/4" round shaft with keyway. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm) and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1000 RPM.
