The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XHAHX-A3XE or 489XHAHXA3XE, is an 8-bolt PTO designed to mount directly to the 8-bolt opening on most manual transmissions, including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and others, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and its associated leak path. The one-piece cast iron housing delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range, matching the torque capacity of the Chelsea 442 Series. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. Shaft power runs 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM, with output power rated at 46-55 HP. Wire/cable mechanical shift is standard; an electric-over-air shift option is also available. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for improved load-bearing capability. Available in pressure-lube and no-pressure-lube configurations. A genuine Chelsea part sold by Pro Gear and Transmission. Call us to confirm proper fit for your application.
