The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XHAHX-P3RB or 489XHAHXP3RB, mounts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate leak path while delivering the same 250 lb-ft intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series. Output is through a 1-1/4" round shaft with key, rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM. Shift type on this unit is wire/cable mechanical. Lubrication is pressure lube (P designation).
