The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XHAHX-A5GK or 489XHAHXA5GK, is an 8-bolt PTO designed to mount directly to the transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path that adapter-style mounts introduce. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and carries a 1-1/4" round output shaft with key. Intermittent torque rating for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft; check application pages for the actual torque rating for your specific installation.
