The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XHITX-A5GK or 489XHITXA5GK, is an 8-bolt PTO built for manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing mounts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening without an adapter plate, eliminating an extra leak path. Shift is wire/cable mechanical, and the output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with keyway. The 489 Series delivers the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series at 250 lb-ft, with shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM.
