The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XHAHX-H5XD or 489XHAHXH5XD, is an 8-bolt PTO assembly designed for manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. The 489 Series delivers the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series at 250 lb-ft (339 Nm), with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM. Internal parts are common to the 442 Series, and multiple greaseable output options are available.
