The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XHAHX-W3XD or 489XHAHXW3XD, is a wire/cable mechanical-shift PTO built for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt mounting aperture, including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. The 489 Series shares its 250 lb-ft intermittent torque capacity with the 442 Series and uses tapered bearings instead of needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
