489XHDAX-V3XK Chelsea 489 Series PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 489 Series PTO Assembly, part number 489XHDAX-V3XK or 489XHDAXV3XK, mounts directly to 8-bolt manual transmission openings, including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec, without an adapter plate, which eliminates a potential leak path. Shift is accomplished via wire/cable mechanical actuation. The 1-1/4" round output shaft with keyway delivers intermittent torque in the 250 lb-ft range (verify actual rating on Chelsea application pages). Shaft power output is 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The one-piece cast iron housing uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability, and internal components are common to the Chelsea 442 Series.
