The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt opening without an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths and cutting installation time. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The 1-1/4" round output shaft is available with a key configuration. Intermittent torque for the 489 Series is 250 lb-ft (339 Nm); shaft power runs 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
