The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XLAHX-P3XK or 489XLAHXP3XK, mounts directly to transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO opening, including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec applications. The integral one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path compared to bolted adapter designs. Output is an SAE B 2 or 4-bolt flange with a 7/8" 13-tooth SAE B shaft. Shift is 12V electric/air shift. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 250 lb-ft (339 Nm); shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
