The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XLARX-W3XD or 489XLARXW3XD, is an 8-bolt PTO assembly built around a one-piece cast iron housing that bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening on Eaton Fuller, Mack, Tremec, and Volvo transmissions. The integral housing eliminates the adapter plate, removing a potential leak path. Intermittent torque rating for this series is 250 lb-ft (339 Nm); shaft power is rated at 24 HP (18 kW) at 500 RPM and 48 HP (36 kW) at 1000 RPM. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with keyway.
