The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489KSBGX-W3XD or 489KSBGXW3XD, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening without an adapter plate, eliminating a potential leak path. The one-piece cast iron housing delivers the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series, up to 250 lb-ft (339 Nm). Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The 1-1/4" round output shaft (with key) is driven by strong tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load capacity. Shaft power reaches 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
