The Chelsea 489XLITX-A3RB or 489XLITXA3RB is a 489 Series power take-off assembly designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening, eliminating the adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and features a 1-1/4" round output shaft with key. The 489 Series delivers the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series (250 lb-ft) and is backed by strong tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
